Gidda is a popular folk dance from Punjab region of India and Pakistan. This dance form involves rhythmic clapping and doesnt really require a dhol (a percussion instrument). The energy levels of the women performing this form are very high, and yet their movements have feminine grace and beauty.   

The dolls in the photo are 7" in size. 

The features and details on the dolls vary according to the sizes, the bigger the size the better the detailing.
