Ghumar is a folk dance tradition of Haryana. The dancers twirl and move in circles and as the music gets faster, their twirling does too. They are also known to sometimes dance with pots, diyas (lamps) and brass plates. Rajasthan also has a folk dance with the same name but the movements and costume are different.
